Eagle Eyes: Mindful Trail Book Series

Eagle Eyes is part 1 of The Mindful Trail book series that invites children in on a mindful journey, one practice at a time. Eagle Eyes is designed for home, classroom and therapeutic use. The story offers a mindfulness lesson modeled by the two characters, Duncan and Janey, on their playful adventure as they explore how mindful seeing can enhance their whole day. The spirited illustrations capture the beauty of the PNW. Mindful practice can start small, simple and playful and grow with continued use.

Bonus! There is an entire section in the back for the caregiver/teacher/clinician to help guide further practice and various examples of way to play with this practice!

Cultivating a mindful practice can benefit children in numerous ways:

  • Reducing stress and anxiety.

  • Improving mood and emotional well-being.

  • Increasing concentration, calmness and patience.

  • Enhancing empathy and kindness toward self and others. Etc.
